Welcome to Yetunde. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Yetunde.
- By using the app, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
2. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- You must not share your account or impersonate another person.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, or exploit other users.
- Upload offensive, illegal, or harmful content.
- Use the app for commercial or fraudulent purposes.
Yetunde reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- Some features are available only with a paid subscription.
- All payments are processed via third-party providers.
- Subscriptions do not renew automatically.
- Users will receive renewal reminders at 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before expiry.
- Renewal is manual and must be completed by the user to continue access.
- Yetunde will make reasonable efforts to send renewal reminders, but we are not liable if reminders are not received (including but not limited to email delivery issues, spam filtering, or user oversight).
- No refunds except where required by law.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of content you post, but grant Yetunde a non-exclusive license to use it for operating the service.
- All app software, branding, and features remain the property of Yetunde.
6. Disclaimer of Liability
- Yetunde provides the app "as is" and "as available".
- We make no guarantees about matches, availability, safety of interactions, or outcomes.
- You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both online and offline.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yetunde shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of the app.
7. Termination
Yetunde may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms or for any other reason.
8. Governing Law and Arbitration
- These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Any dispute or claim must be resolved by binding arbitration in Nigeria, in accordance with Nigerian arbitration laws.
- You waive the right to participate in class actions or pursue claims outside Nigeria.
9. User Acknowledgement
- By using Yetunde, you acknowledge and agree that it is your sole responsibility to track your subscription status and renewal dates.
- Reminder notifications are provided as a courtesy, but the responsibility to renew remains entirely with you.
10. Acceptance of Terms and Privacy Policy
By registering for Yetunde, you confirm that you have read and automatically accepted all conditions stated in these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
Yetunde may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new Terms.
12. Contact Sharing & Off-Platform Communications
Definition: "Contact Information" — Any data enabling off-platform contact: phone numbers (any format), emails, social media usernames/handles, links to external messengers (WhatsApp/Telegram/etc.), QR codes/deep links.
On-platform communication requirement (Acceptable Use/Messaging):
- Keep conversations on Yetunde.
- Do not post/request/attempt to exchange Contact Information in chat or profiles.
- Includes obfuscation (e.g., "0 7 0...", "zero seven...", coded prompts to move off-app).
Limited allowance for trusted matches (discretionary):
- Yetunde may enable contact sharing for trusted matches after a period of positive on-platform activity.
- Eligibility, timing, and scope are at Yetunde's discretion and may change.
- If enabled, users see an in-app prompt; otherwise, sharing isn't permitted.
Automated moderation & temporary processing (Content/Moderation):
- Yetunde may automatically scan message text/links to detect Contact Information and safety risks.
- Processing is limited to what's necessary to allow/deny delivery.
- Messages with Contact Information may be blocked and not delivered.
Enforcement; repeat violations (Enforcement/Termination):
- Possible actions (without notice): block the message, show a warning, apply temporary chat limits/feature restrictions, suspend/terminate for repeat or severe violations.
- Additional actions may be taken to comply with law or protect users.
No circumvention:
- Do not bypass safety filters (e.g., code words, images, masked links) to share Contact Information or move chats off-platform.
Reporting & safety:
- Use the in-app Report tools for requests to move off-platform or other concerns.
- In emergencies, contact local authorities first.
Disclaimer:
- Safety systems reduce risk but aren't perfect; Yetunde disclaims liability except as required by law.
